What’s New at PCE?
PCE Pacific Gives Back!
PCE Pacific is a proud sponsor of many charitable organizations. We support and engage our Team Members in programs which help us give back to the community. Each year, PCE Pacific Team Members rally in various ways to raise money for important causes.
Lee National Denim Day for Breast Cancer Awareness
Each year, PCE Pacific and its Team Members participate in Lee National Denim Day to promote breast cancer awareness. During the month of September, PCE Pacific raised nearly $2000 in cash donations to support October 8, 2010 National Denim Day. Team Members wore pink shirts with denim jeans to support our friends and family members who are battling breast cancer.
Since its inception in 1996, Lee National Denim Day has adhered to a simple philosophy: one day, one cause, one cure®. Since then, Lee National Denim Day has raised nearly $80 million for the fight against breast cancer and unites nearly one million supporters nationwide each year.
Toys for Tots
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to children in need within local communities across the country. Through a new toy during the holiday season, Toys for Tots delivers a message of hope to assist youngsters in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. Each year, PCE Pacific raises approximately $1000 in toy donations for many local children.
Hopelink Food Bank
Since 1971, Hopelink serves homeless and low-income families, individuals, children, seniors and people with disabilities, with mission is to promote self-sufficiency for all members of our community. Hopelink services include food, shelter, homelessness prevention, family development, transportation, adult literacy and employment services. In December 2010, PCE Pacific delivered cash donations and approximately 500 lbs of food to the Hopelink Food Bank.
